🏈 Run fits/Block shedding.

LSU is running a Mint front, and have 3 linebackers and a safety in the box to try and stop all the heavy formations SE Louisiana is in. If SE Louisiana can take advantage of a matchup or two, they could hit LSU for a big pass play at some point if they stay in that look defensively.

You know, I was curious about who was Texas Techs defensive coordinator, so I searched him up. And now I know why they've looked so good this year. Shiel Wood id their defensive coordinator. Some of y'all may already know him because he was Troys DC in 2022. He did a fantastic job with that defense that year. They were really really really good. Then he went to Tulane in 2023, and they were great defensively that year as well.

Then he went to Houston in 2024. Not a great year, but that team was dog shit all around. Had he stayed there I'm almost certain they would've been improved, they do with Armstrong so far.... so I'm confident they would with him. Now look at what he's doing at Texas Tech, the guys building an impressive resume pretty quickly.
