🏈 GAME THREAD 🌹The 2026 Rose Bowl - Alabama vs Indiana: 3 CT on ESPN (SECN has the Crimson Tide Network feed with SkyCast.)

Since Bryant...a little into Perkins.

Bama has been a 7 point underdog 30 times: they won, outright, seven times.
Out of those 30 times as a "dog," Bama has covered 21, lost 8, with one push (1996, UF.)
ESPN's analytics is giving Bama a little less than a 1:3 chance to win outright. (Fits with history.)

All that and I still think it's an O with a SU UA W.

protect Ty,
Did last night's OSU make you pause on your opinions of IU today? My overall opinion hasn't changed. A few nuances here and there have. IU's DL vs OSU's OL from a few weeks ago looks different seeing Miami's DL in the same spot last night.

(I thought Day called a bit of a Kiffin type game last night. When they got into Miami's depth they were running fairly well. And then Day stopped...ala Kiffin with Henry. Why the hell OSU went to a bear front...no freakin' clue.)

Their edge guys don’t concern me as much. Being how our offense depends on Ty, we need him upright and on platform. I don’t think IU has the front that Miami does.

Are any guys (on either side) sitting this game out? I haven't heard anything about it, but then I haven't been keeping up with it, either. I try not to get too into it before a big game like this. I don't like to overload on info and tend to just let the game be played. But I've been curious about this one thing.

I saw the stats favor Indy but if they had our schedule what would they look like?
This is why I look at efficiency numbers: they are opponent adjusted. I know Fremeau and ESPN's efficiences are real close to each other. Averaged out it has IU at #4 and Bama around #9 (O and D efficiency numbers.)

That's VERY understandable considering the two outliers for the UA team: UGA in December and FSU week one.
