You can't tell from the picture but I think we have every bit of 8 inches as of right now. Getting hammered!

I forgot you lived in Nebraska. I lurked on a Longhorn site a little bit last night, and they seem to think the NU defense is the best in the country. I think they are in for a heckuva shock.:shock:

Living there and being able to watch NU up close this season, how do you think their D compares to ours?

Suh is without a doubt one of the best DT's ever. I told anyone who would listen that Nebraska's defense would destroy Texas....I see more of the same for us. Suh had his biggest game against them by far. We have more overall talent than Nebraska. Texas is not that good and neither is the Big XII conference. Texas will struggle with our d-line all night. Name me one Big XII team with a running game? Texas' defensive stats are a joke. Back to NU...Nebraska's LB corp is weak sauce. Our LB's will have a field day on Texas. They have decent corner play but again, ours is better and more of em. If we play like we did against Florida, this game is a mismatch.

I agree with a lot of that, but what kind of edge does Muschamp have knowing Saban's system? I assume Muschamp and the Texas OC will be spending long hours together in the next few weeks.

I think Coach said it best...it's over played...we know them too! In the end, we are bigger faster stronger HUNGRIER! As long as we show up ready we should roll. There is NO DOUBT in my mind. I have watched a lot of BIG XII ball and EVERY Bama game (gameplan).

If there were only a week to prepare for Texas Muschamp's knowledge might be an edge. With what amounts to five weeks of breaking down every game film by a group of talented and energetic coaches I'd think that would neutralize any gain from Muschamp's association with CNS. And, as Saban put it at the post game presser, we know Muschamp pretty well too.
