Just got a text from the father of one of our defensive players who is STILL on the team.

Robbie stood in front of the team mid-week, last week, and apologized for his actions and said he'd straighten up.

He screwed up again. He didn't live up to his contract with Saban and has been dismissed.

Sentimore didn't live up to his contract and I'm told he's gone as well.

I'm a bit out of the loop, but I know Robbie has been in and out of trouble since he got to T-town, but what did he do this time? Also, what happened with Sentimore? I didn't know he was even in trouble with Saban.

In a nutshell. There were a group of players giving an ultimatum, in writing from Coach Saban, this spring that said, "do this or done." The majority have "done that," but not all have. In this case, both players were issued that behavioral directive.

If I wasn't stuck looking for things to get into to occupy my time/mind I don't know if I'd continue updates on this. It's getting tiring, but that's me.

I'm told there was a leadership council meeting last night with both...but, according to one father, "Nick wants them gone."

All we can do is stay tuned.

Losing Robbie isn't that much of a blow. He has potential but was nothing more than a back-up this year. Lester and Barron would be the starters anyway. It only hurts from a depth standpoint.

Not sure, to be honest. I had DSL and home phone (don't need it other than alarm) through ATT...they sent me a deal with cable internet, phone, and cable for the same price. Literally, same price sans .59 cents more. I don't even need the cable (TV) because everything I watch on TV channels I do online.

Oh well...they finally made it! The scheduled appt was 8-10 and he left at 5PM. Nice guy though...did a great job in the fact he left about $150 worth of tools of his in my garage!

I called them and let them know he left them...now, if he doesn't stop by to pick them up? Yah, they'll be in my tool box soon...I'm not driving 25/28 miles to their office just to return something forgotten, ya know? Chit, now I feel bad for saying this...
