🏈 Robbie Green is participating in off-season workouts with the team...

Thanks for the updated info Terry. Now could you please let us know who'll be the starting QB come Sept.? I know you have your ways. ;)

I can tell you this, for sure without the slightest bit of doubt.

Whomever starts...a part of our fan base will be enamored with the backup.

Early reports out of the 7 on 7 drills have A.J. leading most of the practices / drills. He's assumed the role of a guy that already has a year or more under his belt playing.

I really like his chances. The things I look for in a QB he's got...arm, size, time in our system, and experience running that system both in games, practices, scrimmages, etc. Again, I look at this as fans enamored with Sims.

Think about it Sandra. You heard the same things last season about AJ in relation to Greg. Go back another year and you saw the same thing with Greg and comparisons to JP.

Now, assuming we land GK, we'll see it once more and this time it'll be fans enamored with him.

I'm wondering how long it'll take to start seeing a multitude of "why aren't we using Blake in the wildcat more often?"

Two things.... with RG I am of the opinion that even if he is practicing and working out he's going to have a heck of a time moving up on the depth chart. Everybody on the team I am certain are planning that he isn't playing. I think our secondary is going to be wicked awesome this year.

As for QB fans of every team like the underdog, so they usually fall in love with the backup, but no matter who starts even if they're lights out for the first 5-6 games the first mess up and they'll be calling for the backup. Like Terry said you can go back to JPW and people were calling for Greg then last year at different times people were calling for AJ the samething will happen this year even if we're undefeated and in the BCSCG. But, no matter who's the starter we're in high cotton.

I really really like our team this year and am excited to see what happens. I see good things in our future.

I'm of the opinion it doesn't happen as often as you think it does.

When Mallett was being "be-headed" at times last year you didn't hear Arkansas fans calling, or wishing, for Wilson. Do you know who Cam's back-up was last season? We didn't hear calls for Lee over Jefferson last season. But, that's a bit of a different story considering big games that Jason had thrown INT's during.

I don't know if Ole Miss fans were after Masoli's head after the first few games of last season...but, it wouldn't surprise me at all. He, well, bombed.
