🏈 Richard Rodriguez at Michigan

sounds like a bunch of whiny ass football players to me. I get the student athlete part, but I'm trying to figure out why they are dropping a dime on him. guess they don't like RR very much, maybe some proud alumnis are behind this and are pissed about last seasons results after so much "extra" training.

Rodriguez has posted a big sign above the entrance to the team’s weight room that says, “Through these doors walks the best conditioned, most disciplined, and hardest working football team in America.”

so much for most disciplined...they just threw your ass under the bus RR.

the ironic thing is that the NCAA will probably close this Michigan investigation before USC one on Bush/Mayo...

Good one

so ex-players are saying this stuff. you have to wonder if this was about playing time or a real complaint about over training. I mean, was this ok if you were going to get time or was it, i'm getting pushed off the team so now I'm gonna be the fat lady and sing.

Former Michigan wide receiver Toney Clemons told ESPN's Joe Schad on Sunday night that all of the allegations reported are accurate.

"The allegations are true," Clemons said. "Nothing is fabricated or exaggerated in that story. I was there on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. depending on if guys needed treatment. You were there daylight to nighttime."

Clemons has since transferred to Colorado. On Saturday night, another former Michigan starter and a current Michigan player who asked for anonymity started said the reports of excessive training and football-related activities were accurate.

I dont really fault RR, so I think he should say this every year to his players.

"We work out alot, NCAA rules dont allow mandatory workouts past a certain timeframe. Coincidentally, NCAA rules dont make it mandatory that I play your ass either."

Agree......sounds like players that got pissed he was working them. We lost some players for some of the same issues.....Trust me, voluntary workouts are NOT voluntary. They are SHHHH *mandatory*

Players have to just take it or leave it.....Sounds like Rich has some problem children he is better off without.
