🏈 Reuben Foster arrested in Tuscaloosa for possession of marijuana...

Does the NFL support Federal or State law w/ regards to marijuana?

Not sure, but if Sessions keeps his needless "war on marijuana" up, watch for a convention of states for those that have legalized it.

I'm not a huge fan of weed, only smoked a handful of times. But I see the benefits. And have you ever seen someone toke up and go out and shoot somebody? Nope. Never heard of such, unless it's rarely laced with some illicit hard substance. It's the least agressive "drug/non-drug" with so many health benefits. And there is nothing chemically addicting in it.

Eerily similar story to Reuben's: I have a buddy that lived in Cali for awhile. Was on his way back here to visit friends and family, and had a few pounds of edibles. Gets pulled over in Eutaw, and those idiot cops counted his edibles as his overall gross weight of "marijuana", not even factoring the net content of actual marijuana ingredient accumulated was just a few ounces. So instead of a simple possession charge, now he has a distribution charge as well, and is stuck here in Tuscaloosa. Can't leave the state because he's on "paper".

@TerryP I was JK with you! I for one don't smoke, drink, or that weed stuff.. But I'm thinking more on the medical.
I didn't take it any other way, Rickey. I know what your "beliefs/convictions" are when it comes to these things.

I've seen the benefits on the medical end in more than one way...really good friend who is in stage four Parkinson's partakes and I've seen it stop his tremors almost immediately.

It's easy enough in my book.

Dear to whomever it may concern,
Stay the hell out of my life. That includes my bedroom and home, finances, and whatever else I decide is none of your business.
In return, I'll do the same with others.
All that said, I do think there's reasonable suspicion that when police hear/see Reuben they've got an extra eye on him. He created that aura--he's dealing with the spotlight now.

You libertarian, you.

And it was also found to help cure several types of cancer.

Any timeline coincidence with the criminalization of weed and the successive creation of the Federalized Pharmaceutical Industry...I mean the FDA?

I think not...

All the while tobacco kills over a million people a year and is more than legal. Legislating morality is a tough business.

Seems like by now, with all the medical advances, some smart scientist could make a pill that provides the same benefits as a joint. Until they do that, I'm all for allowing medical marijuana.

Legislating morality is a tough business.
Or, legislating choice(s) are no one's business.

Choice. A word that takes on quite an ironic meaning in today's world.

Oh, that exists. It's not really needed but I suppose there are people who don't like brownies, or cake, or coffee, or water ...

I'd bet you'd be surprised at the number of people who are smoking right in front of you, everyday, and you didn't know.

When we have that English lesson, shall we include sarcasm?
