šŸˆ Reports: Enos promoted to Co-OC: Who does Alabama hire as its 10th on the field coach?

Great....

This really makes me wonder if Hurts will stick around next year too. It's kinda an interesting decision for him to make. Money would be for him to transfer, but that same money said he'd quit after 4 games too....

It'll be an interesting few weeks after the playoffs end...

I think a lot of it depends on how hard Saban sells it to him. Im more worried about Jalen's dad getting in his ear than just about anything. One way they may be able to talk him into staying is that if he continues to progress as a passer, and with Enos still here I would say thats a safe bet, he could still get drafted even if hes a backup, especially if he shows out at the combine, Pro Days, etc. Also, he could really benefit his career if he sticks around and continues to play that "slash" role that we kinda scratched the surface on earlier this year. Imagine how valuable a player like Jalen would be for an NFL team if he is a young guy still developing as a QB but at the same time can be effective in other roles, too?

Jalen needs to look at the teams that need a starter but only those teams that have a chance to be pretty good. I hope he is able to find such a team and be the starter for his final year in college. JMO but football(playing days) will end for #2 once his college days are in the books. I am still sticking with New_Braska as a school he would find success in 2019.

Nebraska would not take Hurts as a transfer. They had a true frosh QB starter this year in Adrian Martinez who will be a Heisman candidate next year and who has the perfect skill set for Frost's offense and NFL ability as he continues to develop as a passer (he's got ideal size too).

Somewhere like Houston or Florida would be better fits. Heck, Hurts could go to OU and put up insane stats.

Matinez...Heisman....something is wrong with that statement for sure....he plays like Ned in the 1st reader.

Jalen is from Texas. Would he have a shot to play at Texas out the gate? They seem to be on the rise. With Sam Ehlinger having injury issues would he jump ship to start at Texas? To me this makes the most since. Its out of the SEC so i wont be "a slap in the face" to Bama fans like if he went to an SEC west team like auburn.

That being said if the perspective team wont basically "guarantee" you the starting job....Bama will guarantee to split time with him like they did this year and they kept there word. Jalen has been able to redeem his reputation as a team player and a big play maker. It has been nothing but good for Jalen to stay at Bama.

That is what I was thinking.... as Saban says, when the NFL looks at films, they are not looking at the score of the game. You just need to perform every time you are on the field regardless of score. With the same offense pretty much coming back next year, we will again be blowing teams out and Jalen will get plenty of quality time to lay down film. He'll also have some of the best talent in the NCAA to help him look good at WR...

With Enos staying... I think makes his decision to leave a bit harder...

If he does transfer I wish him well... and think he's handled it the correct way... so either way I just hope for the best for Jalen.

Not real surprised by the decision, but glad all the same.

As for Jalen I think he’d put up good numbers at Auburn, 10rc, or OU. Staying at Bama wouldn’t be to his best interest, yes he’d get more coaching by Enos, but he won’t start unless Tua gets hurt

I want Jalen to do what's best for Jalen. He has been a fine young man and an excellent example of scholar athlete. He has represented the university well and he ain't nothing but a winner.
Maybe he will go help out Applewhite in Houston? I know some of you have said about other SEC school? As long as Bama doesn't have to face Jalen!

I have always been a big Jalen fan. However I DO NOT want to see him at the barn or viles. Both will try and I would not blame them for it. Jalen is very talented and a great kid. I still would not be happy. Pretty sure he will not consult me about what he should or should not do.:)
