Report: Alabama’s Lane Kiffin Interviewed For The Maryland Job

Lane Kiffin could be headed to the Big Ten.
According to a report by InsideMDSports.com’s Jeff Ermann, the Alabama offensive coordinator recently interviewed for the Maryland job. Kiffin, who’s been with the Crimson Tide since 2014, “seems unlikely to return next year,” per the report.
Kiffin hasn’t been a head coach since getting fired by USC in 2013.

A Big Ten East Division with Urban Meyer, Jim Harbaugh, Mark Dantonio, James Franklin and Lane Kiffin? Yes, please.

He came to Bama to get some polish and rehab. If he paid attention to Coach, he may be ready to be a HC .......finally.

PS - I think he would work at Mizzou

Please Lord let him get a job and leave. His play calling drives me nuts. His running game and blocking schemes drive me nuts.

Great recruiter and has done ok but he is no Mcelwain. Who was by far my favorite playe caller.

You don't have to like the method, but the results haven't been too bad. IF he left, who would you think could do better and would have an interest?

I hope it's not true and like some of you doubt very seriously that it is. I hope he doesn't leave, he's done a great job with our last two starting QBs. We're going to need somebody that can do that again next year. Imo, someone they're already familiar with.
