DT was electric!!! The originator of the EDGE position!

One of the few games I have attended was the '86 Kick-Off Classic, against Ohio State. There at the end of that game I was fussing at Derrick for penalties that enabled OSU an added opportunity to score. Fortunately, they did not, and at that time I of course was ignorant as to the talent Bama had there. Those PI calls against DT probably saved Bama being scored a TD on. The rest is history.
