🏈 Remembering the days before Nick Saban

I always have friends coming up and stating that they get frustrated that Bama is so consistent, that their team is spotty at best, and they're tired of seeing Bama win all the time.

My response is nothing lasts forever. I vividly remember the days of Mike Shula's tenure, like a bad movie burned into the back of my mind. I will always take our wins with the attitude that nothing lasts forever and sit back and enjoy the ride. Roll Tide Roll and cheers to the last 10 years of success. On to Atlanta boys!

That was a trying time, but I remember that I was still very proud of the tide and thought that they should win every game. I really liked Mike Shula.

What about some of us OFC guys. We see a lot of up and down too. It not only being Mike either. But I do like it when we have a coach that the other fans, just don't like at all.

We as an Alabama fan base have been spoiled in a good way by the success we have achieved. We have also known the failures and embarrassing times we have had. Since Nick has arrived, we have been darn near perfect. We all scream at the tv when things have gone bad for us, even if it was just as small as not beating a team as bad as we wished we would. Lets just be thankful for the moment we are blessed to be a part of....lol and hope like the dickins that our next coaching search is not a fiasco and we end up with another price or dennis f. But remember that Nick's do not come along that often.

The ONLY thing I don't like about CNS time at Bama is that damn ugly statue they made of him. I know Mrs. Terry approved it but .......

Thing is, even our bad coaches have won 10 games at least once in their tenure since Bryant arrived. That is a lot of why folks think Bama is so consistent.
