🏈 Reality TV show in works for AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb

Katherine Webb and AJ McCarron’s wedding to be broadcast on reality tv

The wedding of former Miss Alabama and NFL hopeful AJ McCarron will air on reality television. Ah, you did not think these two would avoid reality television for their wedding now did you?“They’ve already started filming during the proposal,” Laurie Webb said, via the Auburn Plainsman. “From what I understood, it came from someone else. I don’t think they were trying to get into a reality show, I think they just had the opportunity and decided to take it.”Details of the show are lacking as a producer and network were not identified by anyone close to the couple. We did get one nugget about the content of the show from Webb’s father.“After that was made known, my wife and I did several interviews,” Alan said. “As reality shows go, this would be a wholesome one for sure.”According to Leslie Webb, Katherine’s mother, reality television shows have been chopping at the bit to get her on their airwaves since she became “noticed” during the 2012 BCS Championship game.“We just had

Seems like his focus needs to be more on football than this junk, but to each his own, I suppose.

I've seen a few episodes of Pawn Stars. While surfing around recently I ran across an article that said Chumlee, a background player at his best, makes 25K per episode. That sent me on a little surfing expedition and I ran across another article where Ice T's wife was getting 100K per episode.

Now, weigh this in...Kirk Cousins rookie contract was a tad over 2.5 million for a four year contract.

I haven't bothered looking to see if there were more details on what channel is picking this up, how many episodes are scheduled, or any other detail. I do think it's safe to say they are getting more than Chumlee.

Let's assume AJ is getting twice what Chumlee gets...now he's making as much through the show as he is through his NFL contract (if he gets around the area Cousins did.) Now add in endorsements.

From a financial standpoint...looks like a pretty good move for a young couple.

heard this on jox yesterday on the round table show and i had the same reaction lance taylor did.....stupid move.

why do we need more "reality" shows? almost all "reality" shows are scripted in some way or another. chumlee from the pawn stars really isn't that moronic. the show two-a-days that was on mtv about hoover high school football was scripted on a lot of points. which is one of the reasons i do not watch "reality" shows.
