Brain Kelly is a good coach. He is like a discount Urban Meyer. Notre Dame is at least winning roughly 10 games a season under his watch, which is a far cry from what that they were in the post-Holtz era.

I would put PJ Fleck over Harbaugh...........Hell, I would put Malzahn over Harbaugh. Gus has coached a team to the MNC at least.

Harbaugh is fluff..not stuff....as far as i can see...maybe some good things in way past...but...hell...maybe its Michigan as much as Harbaugh....

like Tennessee...big name school..with little results...and one BIG name they just cant get over....

I have never really cared for him as I felt he spent a number of years whining while at Notre Dame. I also feel they have been the beneficiary of a down USC program, a down Michigan program, a weak Stanford program, and a weak ACC slate as of the past few years. One thing I will say is atleast a majority of their games are against programs a five year old would recognize, which is not necessarily a thing most programs can say these days.

That 2012 Alabama game really dented their football program. They find a way to stick around with the aforementioned points, but they are a Tier 2 team to me that gets in due to their loose affiliations and the fact they don't have to go through Clemson (I understand they did last year), Alabama, Ohio State, or Oklahoma each year.
