💬 Ranking the Top 10 Football Movies/

they put necessary roughness above the program...and the express....and we are marshall?

i just can't agree with that. and while the blind side wasn't really a movie about college football, it's way better than necessary roughness.

#3 needs to be at #10...at least on that list.

The blind side......really excellent...ummmm Sandra B
We are Marshall..... (did my graduate work there).....after thr crash
The waterboy....awesome ....did the assistant coach remind you of Coach O...and the snake on the dinner table....
The junction boys.....gotta give BEARsome ❤️
Rudy....good movie
My top 5
Remember the Titans is more HS...but excellent football movie.... i think

Rudy, The Program, and even Da U 30 for 30 were awesome. Not really sure how you have Necessary Roughness even close and Rudy not #1. I get one of mine was a documentary, but it was damn good, even Part 2 was fun to watch. The Program is a movie that I feel really brings to light the landscape of college football when there were fewer eyes on the rule breaking going on. The Program was just like Blue Chips, just a great inside look at maybe the not so fun side of college athletics, but a reality.

Woodlawn, Forrest Gump...neither were on the list. What gives?

My mom went to Banks, graduated in the mid 60's. Woodlawn was just a really cool movie to see, considering I grew up in that general area and the Alabama football connection. Crazy to think about life back in the 60's.

again, neither were about college football.

while an excellent movie, woodlawn is a high school (good friend of mine went there when Tony did). sure it had Jon Voight as Coach Bryant, and it showed (barely) a bit of college football. but again, not overall about college football.

and forrest gump has some college football in it (a single play in one game), but overall it's not about college football.
