The University of Alabama gymnastics team remains No. 6 in the national rankings following a 196.7 to 195.625 win over Kentucky on Friday night. The Crimson Tide's season average score is 196.625, ranked behind Oklahoma, Florida, LSU, Utah and Michigan. Nebraska, Arkansas and Georgia round out the top 10.

Alabama fell one spot to No. 2 on floor exercise with a score of 49.338, just behind Oklahoma's 49.375. Freshman Mackenzie Brannan is the eighth-ranked individual on the apparatus with a season average of 9.9.

On vault, the Crimson Tide is ranked third, down one spot from last week, with a season average of 49.413. Senior Kaitlyn Clark's season average of 9.912 places her No. 11.

Alabama rose in the balance beam rankings for the second consecutive week, up two positions to No. 8 with an average of 48.956. In two weeks, the team has climbed 13 spots after early-season struggles placed it 21.

On uneven bars, the Crimson Tide dropped six spots to 17th with an average score of 48.919. Junior Lauren Beers is No. 8 in the event with an average score of 9.881.

After making her all-around debut against Florida on Jan. 23, Beers remains the fifth-ranked all-around gymnast in the country with a score of 39.5. Sophomore Katie Bailey, who has competed in three all-arounds this season, is ranked 10th with an average of 39.342.
