šŸˆ Raekwon Davis shot.

I would love for someone to explain to me how the police know all the information about the shooting, that Davis didn't know the shooter, etc. yet he "didn't cooperate." Did they read his freakin mind?

Shoot an email to Homicide commander Gary Hood... See what he says

ā€œThe victim told investigators he was standing outside of Bar 17 when he heard several gunshots and realized he had been shot in the right leg,ā€ Homicide Unit commander Capt. Gary Hood said. ā€œThe victim was uncooperative with investigators.

The victim TOLD... uncooperative people don't typically TELL anything...

I've watched enough TV detective stories to know that the medical staff and police force would be capable of identifying a self-inflicted gunshot wound. If there is more to the story, we will hear about it............................................... eventually.

All the TV detective work aside. The bar owner is either a dumb ass, or full of shit. I ( as someone who has spent over 30 years in EMS, including working several years in the gunshot / murder capitol of the world, I know of what I speak.).

You ever dealt with a witness/victim(s) at a crime scene? People will say all kinds of stuff until the questions get pointed...then they decide to be uncooperative. Not hard to imagine him giving up a very basic version of events and when the "Who did it?" question popped he had a memory lapse. One of two things going on here: he had a gun (his or someone else's), f'ed around and shot himself or he knows who was shooting and why. If it's #1 he's protecting himself and if it's #2 he's protecting somebody else for a reason only he knows.

Seriously? How are those the only two options? So, the fact that someone else may have been shooting their weapon (either at him, at someone else or just randomly shooting it) and Davis literally having no clue who the person isn't an option? How are you so sure of something like that with just as little evidence as me or anyone else?

Personal experience. But, I'll give you the 'no clue who was shooting' argument and ask, why be uncooperative? Uncooperative in the context of a criminal investigation is not just saying, "I don't know", it's refusing to answer pointed questions and maintaining an overall attitude of indifference toward helping in a situation you clearly know something about.

Maybe he does know who it is and didnt want to say a name for obvious reasons? Maybe he was worried saying anything might cause someone to come looking for him? I have no clue but me saying that is no different than people jumping to conclusions the other way.
