🏈 Question about McElroy

McElroy may have been doing this all along, and I may have failed to notice. But, can someone enlighten me on what he is doing after a successful pass play sometimes? It looks like he draws an imaginary pistol and fires it before blowing smoke from the barrel. If he has just begun doing this, maybe he should go back to not doing it and just playing like the burgeoning All-American that he was.

Now, if he has an imaginary pony, maybe he could hop on that thing and dash through the Dodge City streets for first downs and touchdowns before tipping his imaginary Stetson at the cheerleaders and swaggering over to belly up to the bar for a nice shot of Gatorade.

At any rate, get the wagons in a circle partner, looks like this season is going to be very special. RTR

The only time I noticed him holding his fingers like a pistol was when they were lining up in the pistol formation. I thought he was relaying the formation to the Ingram/Richardson.

Yup, the the only time I've seen him do it was what appeared to be a signal to go into the pistol formation.

Jordan Jefferson on the otherhand I've seen blowing imaginary pistol smoke and all after a play....

Whatever he did, it was after a pass play, a completion for a first down thrown over the middle. If you get to watch a replay or something, maybe someone will see it. Of course, maybe I dozed a little and dreamed it.
