Weren’t they also trying to get early enrollees immediately eligible too? You would be talking about a select few top tier recruits possibly playing 33 games in less than 16 months!!! They really don’t give a shit about the kid do they!!!! This proposal doesn’t even factor in those seniors or draft eligible kids either. The NFL isn’t going to put their draft or their season on hold to wait on kids from the Big 10. I would expect these kids to take a really strong look and forgo this “Spring season” so that they would have more time to prepare for the combine and draft. This proposal would allow for no combine and wouldn’t allow any injured kids any chance at surgery and recovery in time for the draft.
