🏈 PSU FTBL Dr: 30-35 percent of C-19-positive B1G athletes had myocarditis (UPDATE: No cases at PSU from same Dr.)

They going to keep on beating that drum aren't they? Already known that myocarditis is caused by any number of viruses, including "The Clap"!
I was just thinking the same thing when I read the thread topic. BIG will not go down w/o a fight that their decision was the right one. Maybe they end up being right but doubt it.

I see no mention that they are at higher risk from myocarditis if they catch Covid on the practice or playing field than if they catch it at a party or at Kroger. With proper testing and treatment they will be fine in either case. They will get better testing and treatment on campus during a season. Will some players be sidelined for a few months out of caution due to MRI abnormalities after a positive Covid test? Yes. Is that the right process? Yes. Sending them home will actually hurt some of them from a testing and treatment standpoints.

I get an increased heart rate from time to time but its not from myocarditis.
Get checked for AFIB. You are at major risk of a stroke. I have it. My wife has “prolonged QT” the wrong OTC med could have huge repercussions. She coded 6 different times over the space of about 6-8 months before they figured it out. She has a pacemaker/defib.
i can remember my AFIB attacks going back to early 30s. I almost died.
