I think it's awesome to bring in Pruitt. Guy is familiar with Bama, runs a good defense (which doesn't matter because Saban ultimately runs it), and is a great recruiter.

re: his personality - I have nothing to go on other than things I've heard/read. Whatever his personality flaws, he apparently can be very convincing as a recruiter. Some very good sales people seem obnoxious to a lot of people.

He's got great high school connections in the state of Alabama. No doubt the guy has gained even more connections during his time in the states of Florida and Georgia. Take that experience and put it under the Saban process umbrella, and I think he stands a very good chance for a lot of success.

I embraced Kiffin. I don't think I'll have any problem embracing Pruitt if he's indeed the choice for DC.

Really, may be the best hire we could have made from a recruit/player view. In the eyes of the players and recruits, I would think they see Pruitt as being in the Kirby Smart line and would have a very familiar and comfortable feel about him.

Hope he bails on UGA. Would be nice to take him on in an off field role until Smart leaves. Let him take lead effort on breaking down Clemson and OU tape so principle staff can focus solely on the task at hand for the most part

Yes, I will stand behind Saban. I just hope Pruitt isn't behind him as well, with knife in hand. Even if he is, Saban will not put up with it and send him packing but it could affect at least one year for us. Maybe Saban will be able to temper Pruitt's attitude, at least I hope so.

Assuming CNS has had the "youre staying a minimum of 2-3 years" conversation with Pruitt this is a great hire. Again, the important thing about Pruitt is not just his understanding of the defense, but how to implement the defense at game speed.

Could someone please post who the primary recruiters are for uga regarding davis and wilson please ? Cant get to a computer at the moment. TIA

This can be handled with a buyout clause in Pruitt's contract.
