🏈 Preparing for next season

Well, here we are in the midst of the offseason. It's painful, I know. Figured I'd get a conversation started on where you think the Tide can improve, which individual players need to step up, how they can prepare for this coming season/specific games, etc. Just general chatter on prepping for next year! (can't come soon enough)

Obviously I like to think the team is flawless, but I'm trying to be a bit realistic

Offensive & Defensive lines are my biggest concerns. Thankfully we have some guys on both sides that were able to get playing time whether it was due to injury or just blowouts. I think the Linebackers, Running Backs, and Wide Receivers are gonna be among the strongest groups in the country. The DBs could be special too with HaHa, Sunseri, Fulton, Beleu, and Geno Smith all coming back with alot of experience. Landon Collins still hasnt seen much playing time so we dont even know how great he could be yet. HaHa will be the breakout star in the secondary next year imo.

The line, on both sides of the ball, will determine a lot of our success.

I'm sure we'll have a fairly successful season either way, but if we're going to make another run at the NC the linemen have a lot to show.

Also, as always, complacency is always a dangerous thing when you've had the success that we have the last few years.

Am I the only one who is more nervous about playing Ole Miss at home than traveling to and playing Texas A&M? I think that's going to be a huge game that we could easily lose if not prepared, like A&M in 2012.

Who steps up to replace Warmack, Jones, and Fluker? Who becomes the leader that Nico Johnson was? Those are my questions. Simply looking at the schedule, I'm not really concerned, even with traveling to College Station. Just like this past season, we will have so many guys that have playing experience and starting time at some time or another but weren't considered full time starters. To be honest, replacing Carson Tinker will be something to watch. Bad snaps can really change a game. With Carson, we never had a bad snap!! I'm curious as to what young kids will step in an make that impact like Amari and TJ. Could it be Derrick Henry, OJ Howard, or Robert Foster? Who will it be on special teams or will the light turn on for some of the older guys?

Despite the losses on defensive line, I think our defense will actually be better than last years and being able to face up against the spread no-huddle and get off on third downs....I am worried about the A&M game, feel better though that we play better on the road than at home.....Still, the experience they bring back on both offense and defense, and how elusive Manziel is..Pretty damn scary

Won't take long to call roll in your group because the game is not the week after ATM. Bama will be refocused by the time Ole Miss comes in.

You, sir, have a WIN avatar. "Archer" is one of my favorite shows. Sad, but I know almost every line from season one.
