Whatever worked in that game, He is likely to try that again, and with Young as new QB, he's probably going to try and run same thing he did in SEC Championship. Mac was good, but is Young that good and can he handle that? Coaches at UA knows it's coming and they probably will scheme for lot of RPO, Play actions, and screen runs/pass.

What was suggested is their approach is going to be trying to keep Bryce "pinned up in the pocket." Grantham made his bones as a defensive coordinator on the blitz. That's first and foremost with this scheme: almost everything is based off of his blitz packages.

I suspect we'll see more of the packages they have designed for Milroe: let 'em come and let his athleticism rule the day.

Florida coach Dan Mullen said Wednesday that quarterback Anthony Richardson has practiced this week after suffering a hamstring injury in last weekend’s win over South Florida.


“He’s done fine,” Mullen said during his weekly SEC teleconference. “He’s practiced every day. He’s still getting treatment, making sure that he’s healthy and ready to go. He’s had a pretty good week of practice.”

What’s Going To Happen​

We’re not lucky enough to get a repeat of the thrilling 52-46 Alabama SEC Championship win over the Gators.

These are two almost completely different teams – at least at the offensive skill spots – from December, but there are still too many soft spots for Florida to pull this off.

The defense hasn’t been good enough on third downs. the passing game isn’t hitting enough throws, and the secondary that melted down in 2020 is too shaky.

That doesn’t mean this won’t be fun.

Florida will hang around – the running game will work – and the defense will take its game to another level of energy in the super-charged environment, but Young and the passing attack will hit the big plays that Jones and his guys won’t.

A starter in 23 of Florida’s last 26 games, Miller was a preseason second-team All-SEC pick. Miller paced the Gators with seven tackles in the season opener against FAU, then exited their Week 2 game at USF after playing only seven snaps.

I don't trust any injury report from Mullen.

I like the defense preparing for two quarterback—there's not a lot of difference between the two other than Richardson seems to have a better touch on the ball—because of what it prepares them looking forward.
