Didn't want to totally divert another thread. Much was being made about Ro, more than likely, going pro after this year. Jseakin brought up a good point about the new NFL salary cap that will cut sign on bonuses or something to that extent. I'm like him, I know nothing about it, other than the fact that it will cut highly picked rookies out of millions in the future.
Having said that. What do you think of Julio or Mark Ingram going pro at this point? With Julio having a "sophomore slump" arguments could be made on why to stay, but if the salary caps are indeed coming, then the argument could be made on why to leave. If Ingram wins the Heisman and Bama wins MNC #13.....what else would he have to prove? NFL requires you to have been out of high school 2 years before going pro. Both guys fit the criteria. I know we want to keep these guys another couple of years, but it is a possibility.
