For those of you in favor of a playoff system, what has happened today is the best argument I can make against one. If a playoff system was in place, there would be ABSOUTELY NO REASON WHATSOEVER for Bama to prepare for anyone other than Florida for the rest of the season.

So you think they would lay down from here on out if there was a playoff system ? lol I totally disagree. If they lose a game on the way to the SECCG they would fall out of the playoff spot. It really would depend on what kind of playoff system it is. I would rather see a plus 1. Take the #1 Vs #4 and the #2 plays the #3. the winners go to NCG. But you would have to make everyone either play in a conference championship game or get rid of all of them together.

Seeing as how College Football is the only sport I really follow I kind of like the tradition of how it is. Just leave it alone.

Who said anything about laying down? There is a HUGE difference in laying down and playing an opponent that you have not prepared for.

We need a playoff system of some type to where the NC is settled on the field. Every sport does it but Div 1 college football, enough said. I just don't have the "want to" to say why right now. I get tired of trying to explain it. The NCAA is a bunch of control Nazi's
