🏈 Playoff Sections for 2018 -- 1) CU, 2) OU, 3) UGA, 4) BAMA

good point. All the Bama fatigue I was hearing from the dumbasses in the media just made me think OSU was going to get in.

This is the 4th year for the playoff committee and it might be time for fans and especially the talking heads to get this figured out, politics are not going to rule the day anymore. And here's what everyone just couldn't figure out this year about this committee, BAD losses are going to count. We should have had the conference championship thing figured out last year, maybe 2 years in a row, can finally settle that.

Now, if everyone can just figure out one thing about the final poll, they are taking what they consider are the 4 BEST teams. Politics and ESPN be damn.

But how are you calling the SEC having a down year this past season?

Seriously? Hogs, Rebels, Vols, Vandy, A&M all mediocre to bad. LSU was ok but not the same as prior seasons. State had solid season. Aubarn was strong, especially down stretch. Those are teams we played. Missouri turned disaster around and had decent year. USCe and KY-meh. Florida-dumpster fire. GA obviously great year.

Did you think SEC strong?

How does anyone know the definitive answer to that question? Most every power 5 team plays only 0ne decent power 5 OOC game. Why are you so determined to diss on the SEC SOS? Not one B1G team beat a top 25 OOC team all year.

No idea about conf SOS. I'm just thinking that we are missing the 2nd level teams we usually have.

LSU wasn't the same as prior seasons? 8-4 this season, 8-4 last season, 9-5 in '15, and back to 8-4 in '14. They're doing the same thing this year as they have the last few seasons. Now, they did reach the 10 win mark in '13...four of those 10 wins were against teams with winning records so that 10 win mark is a little deceiving.

The Vols, Vandy, and Arkansas digressed, sure. UF did as well. But, we've also got Mizzou, UGA, and UofSC have all improved. Auburn did as well along with Mississippi State.

The upper tier teams usually get invited. The B1G, Pac 12, have more midlevel teams but not great teams at the top. So which one of those guys should go? The second best team in the ACC is Miami, let that seep in. The second best team in the big 12 is TCU, did you see the difference between TCU and Oklahoma, talent wise, twice?

Not sure what you want?
