🏈 Playoff Sections for 2018 -- 1) CU, 2) OU, 3) UGA, 4) BAMA

The writing was on the wall when Vegas had us with the best odds to win the title after the Auburn loss.... Boom. RTR

The vegas odds didn't give it away to most of you?!

Y'all need to lose a little money and come live in reality... lol
This sealed the deal.

I know I've mentioned this before. With each passing day I'm more convinced Aaron Suttles overreacts (and I'm tempted to just call it trolling the Bama fan base.)

He retweets RJ Bell's tweet ...

And follows that up with this post.

Simply not true. For one, 5Dimes is based out of Costa Rico. And two, the max bet they had on futures was $250. That translates to quick and abrupt line moves.

They just created the 6 team playoff. #6 Wisconsin would play AT #3 UGA. #5 tOSU would play AT #4 Bama. #1 Clemson and #2 Oklahoma would be waiting at the Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl for the winners.

The result will be more of what we saw this season where losses are excused (hence watering down the regular season even more.)

In my heart of hearts I thought we deserved to be ahead of OSU but was resigned that committee wouldn't put 2 SEC teams ahead of Big 10 champ especially when SEC was down in 2017 and the way we looked vs Barn. Happy to be wrong. Now I just hope we bring A game vs Clemson because we will certainly need it.

Why wouldn't we? A month for coach Saban to prepare for one opponent. Lewis, Wilson, Miller, have a chance to be all the way back. Do you remember how explosive this offense was for most of the season? Georgia can show up a totally different team against a team that dominated them just a few weeks ago but somehow a team with the most talent and experience in college football is just a victim of circumstances?

Please explain how you're coming to this conclusion.

The SEC has five teams in the top 25 of the playoff rankings. No other conference has more (B1G with five as well.) The SEC has three teams in the top 7. The SEC has 10 teams that are going bowling. No other conference has more.

I guess I just didn't trust the committee to put the best 4 in the playoff. Thought they would put more weight on championship game even though OSU didn't look great.

And that’s been the unspoken trend for several weeks. No acknowledgement when the SEC was back “up” either
