I noticed Jalen went a little too far on his kneel down... Ball still wasn't centered, and of course towards the left side he'd already missed on. Gave me a terrible feeling

We've recruited good kickers in the past but for some inexplicable reason they arrive on campus and suddenly suck.

I hope we can eventually get a good kicker. It sucks seeing all these schools around us being able to rely on their kicking game and we have to hold our breath every time our kicker comes onto the field to attempt a field goal.

I honestly felt we should’ve stayed on the right hash from that distance. Maybe if we could’ve snapped it to the numbers on the right, he would’ve nailed it!!:neener_neener:

I'm not a Pappy Nasty cheerleader here...just playing devil's advocate. You remember last week in the Superdome, both Bama and Clemson players were losing their footing on the turf. Pappy Nasty lost his footing on the last second FG attempt (not the first quarter attempt...). That did affect his kick.

Now...My whiny worry (and I really mean that...whiny) why Buvalos took the (blue, grey, red, whatever color) shirt. Pappa Nasty is better than he is? Really?

I agree. He clearly pulls the ball, he showed that all night long, so I was wondering myself why we didn't keep it on the right hash or middle right atleast.

That's the crazy part... He had great numbers from short distance but never once in big kicks did it feel comfortable. Quite possibly the only jinx of the Saban era

We let JK do the long kicks... not sure why we didn't let him do the 30-50 yard ones. He obviously has an accurate leg ala the kick off to the corner landing on the goal line just about every kick... I would have felt better letting JK win the game for us than Pappy... unless it was the van winkle kind of pappy

I don't think that as a slip on the end of regulation kick... he just damn near stepped on the ball with his plant foot from the get go... I didn't see any "slippage"...

Everyone talks about how good Auburn's kicker was, but the stats don't show him that much better really.
