More like maintaining status quo. Since their inception it's been my opinion their premise is a joke which in turn leads to their rankings being the same: a joke.

How can an independent site grade players performances when they don't know what the players assignments are in the first place? And, that's not mentioning how their lack of manpower doesn't equate to being able to judge every player on every team each weekend.

I'd offer it was proven long ago, but just as a pre-cursor to this "proof..."

Let's not forget how they said the "Bama rushing attack was completely shut down by Georgia" and in the same sentence cited Najee's 157 yards rushing.

I've seen their rankings used quite a bit from a lot of different sports media guys. Seems odd they'd all be that off base.

I'm not sure if that last part was an unintended pun.

Let me offer a different perspective. Recently, during a Monday presser, a reporter commented/questioned Saban about how a player had graded out (using PFF's reports) and Saban quickly interrupted him asking "where did you get those grades because that's not how the Alabama staff graded players performances." That didn't raise a red flag with me. It only went to confirm suspicions.

They've graded Owens low in his last game and that is the opposite of what I've learned about how they (AU) feel Chris did in the last game. I've seen them grade QB performances higher than others when almost every stat meant they were just flat out wrong; TD vs INT, QBR, YPA, YPC, and a few others to be exact.

Since they base everything they do off of their "grades", shouldn't their coach of the year award go to the coach who had the highest cumulative team grade average for the whole season? And don't tell me that's Florida.
