🏈 Petrino to Miles: "F-you"

Wow - looks like Petrino ought to not let Miles whoop his tail if he doesn't like it...

I turned the game off at the end, but watched most of the game...I didn't see anything that LSU/Miles did that I would consider unsportsman like, and thus, call for a reaction like that. Well, that is, other than the jumping up and dancing and signaling like they just won the National Championship after routine 2nd down tackles...but they always do that, he had to have expected nothing less.

Petrino strikes me as a classless kinda guy... whippings are hard to take but show a little dignity. I think it's interesting how that teams almost always have the same character as the head coach. Possibly, fans as well

As mentioned above....play some D and stop them. If Arky had been up big with 6 minutes left, would Petrino have dialed it down or tried to run up the score to make his team look better to the voters?

honestly it doesn't really look to me like he's saying "F you"....

anyway, i know this is football, but for the sake of what these kids had been through this week, it might not have been a bad idea to chill out a little the last few min of the game. just sayin'

I think Petrino saw Miles kneel on the ball at the goal line with 5 minutes left against Ole Miss and was hoping for the same. Instead Miles kicked a field goal with about the same amount of time left (not like it was only a few seconds)--prompting the FYMF. Arky got the ball back, did nothing, punted to LSU, who ran the clock out, kneeling at the end.

Petrino is a jackass, but then, most of college football knew this already. He and Dana Holgerson need to start a whining fraternity together.

I remember what Bill Curry said when asked about whether Spurrier had run up teh score on one of his Kentucky teams in the nineties. He siad words to the effect that they were supposed to be big boys and it was up to them to keep Florida from doing that.

It is worthy of note that Miles could have easily put more points on the board against Ole Miss, but chose to take knees their last two posessions.
