šŸˆ Per Capstone CK TO BAMA ROLLLLLLLLL TIDE ROLL!

...and while Cyrus could always be, "one of those guys that never pans out", I very seriously doubt he ends up like that. I think he's going to be a player, though I do think he takes a RS in '11. He is a good dude to point to though when you sit down with Jameis Winston and say, "There is your left tackle right there."

Ahhh, Jameis Winston. Words can't describe how ready I am to see him come in and take snaps under center at Bama.

My question is does he come in and start on the OL or redshirt??? ..... According to BOL, our "depth chart" for 2011 is :

LT- Alfred McCullough(Sr.), Tyler Love(Jr)
LG- Chance Warmack(Jr) , John Michael Boswell (Sr)
C - Willliam Vlachos (Sr), Chad Lindsay (Soph)
RG- Barrett Jones (Jr), Anthony Steen (Soph)
RT- DJ Fluker (Soph), John Michael Boswell (Sr)

And then add in new players in Aaron Douglas who is a JUCO and CNS mostly only recruits JUCOs who will make immediate impact, and then Ryan Kelly and Issac Luatua (who both will probably reshirt), where does CK fit in? And then that is only who they have listed on the depth chart as the "one & two"... Arie isn't even mentioned.....

I see Douglas getting that LT position this upcoming season. Cyrus in my opinion will be red-shirted and groomed for the spot. He should get in there by his red-shirt sophomore year. This is of course just my opinion, but it seems logical to me.

I agree with you guys about CK. I see him redshirting in '11 and being a force the following year. He may even push Douglas to the backburner in '12. I had a Barner post on my FB page that CK might as well get used to sitting on the bench with his brother for the next 4 yrs. I told him that if CK is ready, HE WILL PLAY! I also explained that I did see a RS coming but he would be in the rotation in '12 for sure, if not starting.

I will be following Hueytown's baseball season with interest. His mom says he likes football best, but if he projects as a first or second rounder in the MLB draft that big signing bonus will be hard to turn down.

Exactly Joe. First or Second Round money will be about impossible to pass up. I don't know of too many families, regardless of their situation that would pass up 6-7 figures!!
