I made the comment the other day that I guess we have seen the last of the Penn State White Outs, referencing the perceived connect between the color White and purity. This got me to thinking.

Penn State has the most timid uniforms in the college game, a choice of JoePa. In an effort to turn the page and to erase the fingerprint of Joe Paterno at PSU, could we see those iconic unis go away?

Your thoughts/opinions please.

Do you think our uniforms are timid as well?

The only difference is we have numbers on the sides of the helmet and names on the back.

As to your thought on changing the uniform as another step to move away from the past? It isn't the first time I've heard or read something about that thought. Here's a link to an article discussing the subject.

I hope not. I like the "timid" style much better than the "Oregon" style of uniform which changes with every game.

Personally, I do not see PSU changing their uniform style, at least this year. Who is to say what they will do in the upcoming years of sanctions? If PSU does not have a mass exodus of players this year, they should be fine record wise. The sanctions are going to take a couple of years to take impact the overall number of players.
