Somewhere at home I have an audio cassette of Paul kennedy's actual call of our last drive of that game. It was a great series. I remember especially that at the end, Kennedy and Doug Layton alternated "It's good." "It's good." for about a minute. Also memorable was the hush that came when everyone realized that there was a flag on the play, then the exultation resumed when the ref signalled off sides against Auburn.
His other great call was that same season against Georgia, when Mike Shula led a game winning drive climaxed by a pass to Al Bell for the score. I won't forget "God bless you, Mike Shula."
