I must have missed the announcement. Did anybody know that the PAC12 is back?

I was watching the Olympics and a commercial came on promoting the upcoming sports on NBC-affiliated networks and I see the PAC12 logo. What? The new PAC12 will have nine teams (only eight have football teams) (following the new math skills of the BIG10) including Texas State, Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon State, San Diego State, Utah State and Washington State.

They have a five-year TV deal with USA Sports (part of the USA Network).

Did anyone else miss the announcement?
