If I was a Big 12 member, sliding that "will you go out with me?" note to the Pac 12 would be the absolute last option anyway, and even then I wouldn't want anyone knowing about it.

Wonder if we will see some schools begin to split their conference affiliations. Example, a school like Baylor joins the Big Ten for football but works a better deal on the basketball side and joins Pac-12 in basketball? Kansas joins the ACC in basketball, but Pac-12 in football, etc...

I’m sure the conference agreements would prevent it unless it’s a sport not supported by the conference (like women’s rowing at Alabama - they compete in the Big12).
