I loath using officials as a reason or excuse for a loss. Here's one that could have made a significant difference. A 15 yard penalty assessed to the right team would have meant 1st and 10 from the Cal 35. It ended up 1st and 10 from the WSU 8. A 58 yard swing on the mistake. There were three Cal scoring drives which didn't go for that many yards (19 was the closest.)

I'm lost as to what, or whom, will work in Fayetteville. The mental image of Leach recruiting in the southeast is an image that just ... it's blurry. I have to wonder how he'd be received. Can you image Leach in Devin Bush's house?

Got to hand Morris one thing though ... his last class did span over 10 states so we can't say the guy wasn't spending time on the recruiting trail.

It's been a tough year for Coach Leach and WSU. He may be old enough not to want the pressure the SEC, especially at Arkansas, would bring. I've always liked Coach Leach. Up until this year, his team's have been a good bet.

Like others have said, I don't know who in the world will fit there. When the officials let him play with 12 men, H. Nutt gave us fits. I don't remember the conditions or why he left the Hogs.
