Bird, maybe praise for the drive but not the game. I recall folks saying AJ had a terrible game up until that point. I see your point though. Dang, it is hard to argue though that Murray has put up serious numbers, better than ANYONE ever in the SEC.

On a twist of the subject we never hear anyone argue he's a system QB either—yet there's no better description for how he operates in that offense.

I would definitely say there is an argument for him being a system QB... David Greene put up similar numbers, but so did Matt Stafford and he's doing pretty decently for himself... with Calvin Johnson.
