They were holding a towel on her face/head while they walked her off the field. My bet is stitches.

They showed a video of her walking to ambulance during the game with an eye patch over her eye . Hope there are no concussion symptoms.

She's tough though after her arm injury last year , when she did make it back on the field it wasn't long before she was head first sliding again .

You were on the right track. I knew Demi had gotten hurt last season against LSwho, but I thought she had gotten hurt the season before as well. I just got confused.
