🏈 Other Week 7 games thread...

Your Ducks are looking strong without a doubt. They have at this point of the season each of the last 4 years if I'm remembering correctly. Except for 2011 when LSU beat the. Up pretty bad to open the 2011 season in Dallas. But even after that game they looked very strong. The 2 SEC teams they've played with scent defenses since Chip Kelly arrived have made life tough for them (LSU and Auburn). When they finally take advantage of one of these matchups and score 60, they will garner the rest of the voters. And no, unfortunately UT doesn't count... Lol But the team is looking good indeed.

I was very close to field level (row 6 on the 30 yard line) for the Tenn game. My biggest surprise in that game was how Oregon's d line took it to the Tenn offensive line. You could see the d linemen get up inside those offensive linemen we'd heard so much about and just take it to them. Smith dropped a ton of passes in that game for Tenn, he looked like he had stone hands. They've got a lot of work to do to get back to respectable. I thought they'd be better than they were.

Washington is clearly the best team we've played so far this year. WSU this weeked and Leach will be throwing the ball a ton. Rumor was Stanford was ripe for the picking last week, sort of beaten up after playing the huskies and Utah at home isn't an easy game.

A mouthy kicker...

Woo, week 7! Share your thoughts/predictions!

- I think Louisville showed why, even if they go undefeated, they are not worthy of a BCSNC berth. Rutgers is not a bad team by any means, but Louisville's defense really had to bail them out last night. Bridgewater showed some weaknesses too, throwing a pick, giving up a fumble, and making some bad throws. They are a great team, no doubt about it, but the fact that one of their toughest games all season was against Rutgers (and that they largely struggled versus the Scarlet Knights) speaks volumes.

- Can #25 Mizzou upset #7 Georgia? My vote is .. no, but who knows. Georgia lost some players and Mizzou is heating up.

- #12 Oklahoma and Texas .. Close game but Okie pulls away. Mack's last game?

- Arkie and #14 South Carolina .. I think this will go to OT, but the Cocks come away with the win.

- #17 Florida and #10 LSU. LSU walks away.

- #2 Oregon at #16 Washington .. Calling for the upset. This will be the game of the week. I remember when Washington upset #8 Stanford last year, that was a great game, I hope we see something similar with this game. This Oregon team is something special though.

- #18 Michigan at Penn State. Calling for this as an upset too. Hackenberg has a big game.

- #5 Stanford at Utah. Stanford struggles and has to fight off a Utah rally. Another close game.

Philly, I really thought UGA would slaughter the Viles and that a 10.5 spread would be like taking candy from a baby. Was I ever wrong!! So, don't take this the wrong way, but have you gone back to look at your picks? Don't feel bad. I sort of agreed with you on many of these. Suffice to say we shouldn't move to Vegas and try to make a living.

LOL, yeah I always go back and look, but I am usually wrong so I don't bring it up :icon_lol: Totally called Penn State though. That was a great game.
