Mike is speaking the gospel here, y'all be safe. Have lots of fun but be safe. I drive 24 miles to work and we just had a fresh 4 inches of snow on top of 15 inches we already had. This morning when I went to work it was -13 degrees. I went to the bank at 9 AM and it was a whopping -7 degrees.

Fortunately I am off from work tonight. Otherwise I would have to drive down the interstate. What would normally take me 15 minutes doing the speed limit would take me much longer in this weather.

Another nice miss by Spann and the Atlanta weather guys. I live between the capital "A" in Alpharetta and the "d" in Sandy Springs, and we got a good 4 to 5 inches. I left work at 12:15 and got home at 4:45 - 26 miles of snow and ice glaze, building to good accumulation up my way. Low of 12 to 15 tonight, won't make freezing until tomorrow afternoon.

I'm building a fire, and staying home.

RTR,

Tim

bamaledge I drive a half hour one way to work every day. This morning it was -5 in southern Ohio and we only had 4-5 inches os snow on the ground. Of course, the roads were good bc they have been treated and plowed.

What I am seeing from the photographs is more sleet than snow which is a whole different game when it comes to driving. I don't care where you live, not too many people can drive on ice. Some of y'all may want to go to the local sporting goods store and purchase some ice skates. Again, be safe.
