šŸˆ OT: Student/Faculty org. demanding changes with UA Administration (monies, groups, diversity, etc.)

"among top-tier state and private universities, the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa reported the highest percentage of black faculty"

It’s 2015. Where are all the black college faculty?
Weird.

An article, in which I'm assuming a point is trying to be made about today, and it uses stats from 2007. :what:

We're a year removed from the largest incoming class of frosh in the school's history; three times the size of the frosh class in 2007. Student population overall mirrors that increase. The percentage may be the same eight years later but I have my doubts.

Just watching the video on their page, it seems like that last item on the demand sheet is the real point.
Good luck with that. A secret society doesn't have to do anything and will not do anything to expose itself. DUH it is a secret. Even though I was unaware of the Machine, it did not surprise me that one is there. If you look at other colleges and universities you will find a lot of secret societies. Even the Shriners are somewhat secret. It goes without saying that all politics are local. That is where real elections are influenced with the power of the purse. Is it wrong? I don't know but if you aren't in that society then you don't have a chance to break it up. Here are more links to other college secret societies.
