i think most of us recall an extremely painful butt-whooping at the hands of niu not that many years ago.

i don't see what the big deal is outside of money. :tennis:

True, I guess I just like to see the "smaller" schools play the David to the "bigger" school's Goliath. I like a good underdog. No one seems to be giving a chance to NIU so it'd be cool to see them win it and shut the haters down.

Plus I'm not a big FSU fan haha.

Personally, I can't stand the Mid-Levels being in with the big boys. Especially with NIU this year...they don't truly deserve to be in this game.

Also, it has been talked about on here about how the bowls just haven't done very well this season as far as ticket sells are concerned. There's quite a bit of open seats for this game tonight. I would have thought that Florida State would have been able to sell out with just their fans, not including the folks that came down from NIU.

I remember that game all too well. It was the last time I sat in the upper deck of BDS. I have sat in the upper deck 5 times. We lost 4 of them. That game sticks out in my mind most. I was extremely disappointed that day.
