I wanted to complain about our special teams again and I think I will. They don't look prepared mentally and to say after 13 games we still look like the keystone cops on kickoff and punt returns is the understatement of the year. If the gunners don't kill Waddle our own guy's will. At a crucial time in the game, they have to kickoff on their own 10-yard line folks because of 2 consecutive personal fouls on their TD and Brian Robinson decides this would be a great time to call a fair catch on our own 20. We in turn punt the ball and the sooners suddenly have the ball at the 50. Nobody takes their foot off the pedal after a big lead like the Tide.

I maintain he was pointing at the ball for the returner. Nowhere did I see him waive his arm like a legit fair catch. I only saw the replay once, but seriously looked like he pointed at the sky, not waive at it.

How many missed INT's did Alabama have, three or four?

OU's offense put up some crazy numbers this year.

Alabama is needs ~1000 yards between the leaders to equal that for perspective (Tua 3671, Jeudy 1176, Waddle 823, Jacobs 819, N Harris 724)

But, but...

Special Teams Coach of the Year, amirite?

That was a very frustrating game to say the least. I don't recall a Bama (elite team) with so many mental discipline mistakes as we say last night. 15 yards on #99, 15 Yards on #32,15 yards on #30,and 15 yards on #31. The fair catch by #24 was F pitiful. I would be surprised if #74 didn't get flagged during the award celebration. Hats off for the team for winning. Bama has two great athletes playing ILB in #30 and #32 but they're not great LBers and the problem is there must be nobody behind them to give them a break. Nobody behind #33 either other than #18 and he is average at best. This bunch needs some rest after chasing the Energizer Bunny around for 4 hours.

The sooners were losing their mind out there when we went up 28 to zip. They were thugging it up and the refs were mostly letting it happen. Bama started pushing back way too much and may have been some of the reason we looked like we had lost some focus.

When Washigton started thugging it up in our semi game, coach Saban has to finally send Brown and Foster off the field for lashing back. Hey, crap happens.

QW and Buggs said that the Okl. player was talking during the whole game. One of them said that Coach Saban told them to not talk back to them.
