Saw this posted on the Rant regarding OU and 3 men rush.......
Quote
I was listening to the most recent AP Top 25 CFB podcast, and they had on Steve Palazzolo from Pro Football Focus. He said 2 particularly interesting things:
1 - He said that OU's offense has faced, by a wide margin, the most 3 man rushes in CFB in 2018. As a matter of fact, 1/3 of OU's passing plays in 2018 went against a 3 man rush. He said this in the context of, yes, OU's Oline is good - but, a lot of Olines would be statistically good versus what they've seen. He tied it in with how much time Murray has had to operate this year, and that it would be very different versus Bama.
2) He said that Quinnen Williams had in 2018 the most dominant year by a Dlineman, according to PFF's evaluation system, since they started doing it in 2014. He also said that Quinnen Williams is the second highest rated draftable player on their board, second only to Nick Bosa. He said Williams is a top 5 pick, easy.
