Do you think ut will come out in either half wearing their orange jerseys? I know, I know lame kitten said they wouldn't wear them, but I also believe lame is a DA.

I think they will wear them. Can't decide if it will be at the beginning of the game or they wait until the second half. What you say?

If he did come out in them, he would do it to start the game in my opion. I think in the 2nd half that 15yd penalty would be icing on the cake or his final nail in the coffin. I agree that Kiffin is dumb and arrogant but I don't think he really would want to give up 30yds in penalties at any point in the game.

Lame kitten seems the type to send them out 2nd half in orange thinking it will give some sort of super power. is the penalty enforced on the kick or after the kick?

PENALTY
Administer as a dead-ball foul. 15 yards at the succeeding spot after the kickoff. If the kickoff is returned for a
touchdown, the penalty is assessed either on the try or
on the succeeding kickoff, at the option of the home team.

This is a picture someone sent me from the1956 game.

I can't think of a good reason why he would not. I expect them to play in Orange.

The 15 yard penalty may not be a back breaker.

BUT, considering they rank worse than we do in kick return coverage...let's say Javy returns a kick 30 yards. Tack on 15.

Does he really want to put us 15 yards outside of field goal range to start a half?

Or, does he really want to start deep inside his own 10 when they return a kick...against our defense?

With as much publicity as this has received. IF UT comes out in orange, the emotion is going to run both ways. It might fire up his team a bit...but, it's also going to increase the decibel level in BDS several fold.

UT is playing from behind from the start. They need to find and edge somewhere, or make one. Tapping into "us against the world" who have to be result of facing an increasingly hostile crown, and lets not forget that UT is the one team who sees Giant loud crowds more often than we do. Also, cultivating the cocky attitude seems to be his thing. What better way than to act in a way that says " Oh, so you say we can't wear orange? Well here we stand loud and proud in your livingroom. We're Tennessee. Come get us if you think you can."

If he does not have the better team, then his team needs to play inspired.

I'm not disagreeing with "why" he might.

All I'm saying is 'IF' he does, it's a two way street.

The crowd will know why he's decided to do that. And, they'll know it's a "come and get us if you think you can" statement. The crowd will bring it...the team will then bring it with more of a fervor than they already have.

It's not the environment he <strike>wants</strike> needs to create.

We're on the same page. Your words are half of the reason that I hope he does, becuase it forces us to get "get juiced up".

The second reason is that I think anytime that a school can do to show pride and tradition in creating "thier flavor of football" it is a good thing...within the bounds of taste, class, safety and reason.

Let the Rooster Crow, Cow Bells ring, Gator fans Gator Chomp, and OleMiss fans go Grovin'. Let the Buckeyes Dot the Eye, Clemson touch the rock, Colorado be lead out by a 1800lb. live Buffalo, and the USC Song Birds...(Honestly, I don't know that they do anything. But let them keep that up, whatever it is.) Let Bama do their Big Roll Tide, Ol'Miss Cheer, sing to Sweet Home Alabama; and let Tennessee wear their Orange.

I hated seeing that color Orange on standard definition TV. It was blinding. When the signals went to digital, and now seeing it in HD?

I'm SO HAPPY Moore decided to say no...I would have a headache before kick-off looking at that color.
