The University of Alabama gymnastics team moved up one spot in the national rankings to No. 5 after record wins over Missouri and Auburn this weekend. After raising its regional qualifying score from 197.055 to 197.39, the Crimson Tide remains ranked below Oklahoma, Florida, LSU and Utah.

Alabama shot up the uneven bars rankings, jumping from No. 10 to No. 4 after improving its RQS from 49.18 to 49.38. Junior Lauren Beers leads Alabama on uneven bars with an RQS of 9.91, good for fifth nationally. Beers helped lead the Crimson Tide to a season-high 49.525 on uneven bars against Auburn on Sunday.
The Crimson Tide showed the most improvement in its balance beam ranking, where it rose from No. 10 to No. 3, tied with LSU. After recording its third consecutive score of 49.225 against Auburn on Sunday, the team's RQS rose from 49.09 to 49.305.
Alabama held steady on floor exercise, remaining No. 4 nationally despite improving its RQS from 49.4 to 49.45. Alabama posted a 49.5 on the event against Missouri last Friday, its second-best score this season.
After recording her sixth and seventh all-around scores this season, Beers re-entered the national rankings at No. 5 with an RQS of 39.515.
