🏈 On the bright side...

I can't think of anything more social than listening to what other fans think and feel about your favorite football team. Nor a subject that can have more love/hate.

By that measure Instant Messenger is social media, texting would be social media. I just simply don't consider a back and forth conversation about Alabama atheltics as social media. There is no way you can compare this site to a Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, or Instagram, even though people post twitter on here. I'm not necesarily opening up my life, my family, my work for you or anyone else to see like the others. Sure, sometimes we get into political back and forths when dealing with sports, but that still isn't day to day activity, nor do some of us visit the page each and eveey day chronicalling our lives like Twitter and Facebook for instance. Those are only brought into this page as proof and documentation to back up a point.

Well, it ain't secular and it ain't political, that leaves social.

And besides, ain't it time you tell us a little more about yourself? :what:

Make a fake account. Don't tell anyone it's you. Solved.

I just don’t have the time for that kind of stuff ... Since my grandparents started getting sick and have passed since then , I have been taking care of their farm , my place , and my parents who are both around 70 .

So my time here is like a get away into sports for a brief time per day ...

I do enjoy Daylight savings time a lot more since these thing have come to pass .

You're preachin' to the choir, my friend. I can empathize from personal experiences.

However ...

This basketball game is a case in point of broadening your "reach" when it comes to what's available on the 'net. Facebook broadcasted over a dozen football games this past season. (I want to say nine of them were CUSA games but don't hold me to that.) We're going to have games where these types of media outlets are going to be the only way to watch. Personally, I"m looking forward to seeing how much it increases our exposure to baseball and softball around the conference.

I'm not suggesting an account as something you do daily, even weekly. But, with accounts on sites like that when a game or two comes on ... you got access.

To each his own...
