Speaking of the Patriots, rumors have begun to emerge that the franchise notorious for trading down may actually trade up in the round for a shot at McCarron. Such a move would virtually guarantee that Mallett, a third-round pick in 2011 who is entering the final year of his contract, would be traded elsewhere.

I thought Mallet was already traded to Houston? Wow, New England would be the perfect place for AJ. He gets to learn under the best QB in the league and play for Nick Saban's mentor. It couldnt get more perfect there.

NFL is about to suspend Josh Gordon of Cleveland for a whole year due to another failed drug test so likely Cleveland will be going after some receivers today. Kevin Norwood will be a sleeper pick for someone imo. I'd love Atlanta to get him as a good possession receiver especially since this is the last year of Harry Douglas' contract. Bills traded Stevie Johnson to the Niners today so thats one less team looking for a receiver.

Houston selects Xavier Su'a-Filo (OG) of UCLA and then Washington trades their 2nd round pick with Dallas. Dallas selects DeMarcus Lawrence (DE) of Boise State. Yet another pass rusher off the board, ATL needs to trade up quick.

Cleveland selects Joel Bitonio (OT) of Nevada.

Derek Carr finally comes off the board as the Oakland Raiders select him. That will be an interesting situation.
