So far today I have seen a lot of sloppy, sloppy football. I hope we come out poised and ready to play. I have also seen a few ejections, I hope we play smart.

I've seen the video of three and all were questionable in my eyes.

Texas A and M lacks character, and I've lost much respect for their program. Virginia Tech will win the rest of its regular season games. Bama will improve or lose at least two games this season. Derrick Henry needs to accept coaching and advice from those around him with more experience and knowledge.

I didn't see any disrespect from him receiving feedback. Also, I think AJ directed his mistake intentional grounding at DH instead of coming to terms w/ his bad decision. I didn't see much of that out of AJ. For a 3 year starter senior, I was extremely disappointed in AJ. I'll elaborate in another thread...

The conversation started between Henry and AJ the series before the grounding. He argued with AJ and then a coach grabbed DH at the sideline and continued where AJ left off. Friends watching the game with me said, "That may be the last we see of Derrick Henry". But, he returned. If you watch the film again, you can see AJ discuss the situation with, I think, Cooper and Steen, and it's easy to read AJ's lips as he says "What the f--- is he doing?"

Just an observation, I do agree that AJ has had better games. I am a big Derrick Henry fan. Just what I think might help him be a better player if it's the case.

If AJ said that, then he really needs to calm down and realize this is his first game.

DH did miss a a key block in pass protection, but that will come over time. Tenpenny ran well though. Even on that negative run, it took 5 players to take him down.

Come to terms with his bad decision on the pick... but that grounding was a bad decision? As opposed to just eating the sack and getting destroyed by the lineman that Henry missed on the block?

There needed to be more conversations than just between AJ and DH. DH missed a key block, but so did Yeldon and AJ didn't exactly play lights out.
