I'd hate to see Brooks go, because he coaches his teams very well. I don't think anyone will disagree with me though, when I say that I think Kentucky Football has hit the ceiling. 8-4, 7-5 is as good as that program can hope for. There simply isn't enough in-state talent to keep them supplied. Louisville is going to recruit harder for a couple years. Ohio State, Cincy, and Notre Dame also hit the states in that area very hard, as does Va Tech and Tennessee. Then, you have to compete on the field with the SEC. It's a lot to ask.
Same thing can be said for Kansas Football. New coach or not, 8-4, 7-5 is equivalent to a championship season.
