“He was getting cut maliciously by their defensive end,” he said. “That’s just bad football. It’s legal, but it’s bad football and I have no problem saying it. We’re so concerned about frontal cuts, and we’ve got a defensive end chopping him on every play.”​

As Kelly said, the plays are legal, but perhaps the NCAA will take a look at changing the rules this offseason, especially if Kelly and others complain.​

When I think about Notre Dame, I just think back to beating them in Miami, that was great.

Watching Golic, Holtz, Brown, etc speaking to all the domers at their pep rally, absolutely loved that video considering all the shit they talked and how the game played out.

Seeing them get punked in the tunnel prior to the game, that was just icing on the cake.

Hope we smash the hell outta them in the home/home series...guess we'll see one of them air on NBC and the other on CBS.

It was a pretty rough cut but it is legal and offensive players go through drills to avoid injury if their paying attention.. and when their not an injury can occur .

If I’m not mistaken Donte Hightower’s injury was a low block but he didn’t get his hands out . I didn’t like it then and not very fond of it now but hey it’s legal so teach your players to pay attention....

That's ok Wayne I dislike him because he is at nd.

If the coach does not like the rule, all he has to do is present a proposal to the NCAA rules committee to get the rule changed. Petty of him to draw attention to a perfectly legal play near the LOS.
